That said, the Garmin Fenix 7 is a stellar technical tool. Its dedicated activity profiles measure enough metrics to please a sports scientist, while its pared-back interface is all about efficiency. Its smart features might be fewer, but it’s every bit the capable companion on land. And for many, the dealbreaker will be that battery life.
