Re: is it the crank sensor (yreg punto mk 2 1.2 8v) A faulty crank sensor would either mean the car wouldn't start, or you'd get the EML dash light and if not that the car would play up with starting sometimes. To be honest you should hear the fuel pump kicking in, as mentioned above. If not check your fuel relay!
